Why work with Rapid Logistics on Turkey–Russia?

Turkey–Russia is one of the longest-running and busiest lanes at Rapid Logistics. With freight experience going back to 1965, an office in Moscow and an operations team in Istanbul, we give shippers a single point of contact from planning to delivery. We also exhibit regularly at TransRussia, the main logistics fair for this market.

Our Russian-speaking customer representatives and fleet sourcing specialists talk directly to your consignee, so documents, delivery addresses and appointments are settled without information getting lost. Through the Rapid Loadboard platform we quickly find the right truck for your cargo within a large network of verified carriers.

Temperature-controlled

Reefer trucks with monitoring for food, pharmaceuticals and other temperature-sensitive goods.

Project & heavy cargo

Vehicle selection, routing and permits for machinery, equipment and out-of-gauge loads.

Route and border crossings

Overland via GeorgiaSarp border into Georgia, then into Russia through Upper Lars (Verkhny Lars). The most frequently used route on this lane.
Black Sea Ro-RoRo-Ro links from Turkish Black Sea ports to southern Russian ports — an alternative when border queues build up.
Delivery pointsMoscow and the Moscow region, St Petersburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg and other cities.
Loading pointsIstanbul, Bursa, Izmir, Ankara, Gaziantep, Denizli, Kayseri and other Turkish production hubs.

Transit time depends on the route, border waiting times and customs clearance. Before loading, our operations team gives you an estimated delivery schedule based on current conditions and keeps you updated on the way.

Documents for exporting to Russia

Russia is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), so EAEU customs rules apply. Typical documents include:

  • Commercial invoice and packing list
  • CMR consignment note
  • Export declaration and transit documents (TIR carnet or transit declaration)
  • Certificate of origin
  • EAEU certificate or declaration of conformity (EAC), depending on the product
  • Compliance with labelling and digital product marking rules where applicable
  • Electronic advance information to Russian customs for road shipments

Complete and consistent paperwork directly reduces waiting times at the border. Our team checks your documents before loading.
